A public threshold

The public site is now live as the first outward threshold for The CosmOS. It introduces the game as a place players can understand, follow, and eventually help test without draining away the mythos that gives the universe its charge.

Visitors can begin with the core promise, explore the Act Atlas, follow the public signal feed, and enter the recovered archives where prototypes and development fragments are gathered into one vault.

This is the first clean public frame for the project: atmospheric, playable in intent, and honest about the road ahead.

Interest is open, access is not promised

The playtest page is now an invitation surface for players who want to help shape the first playable fragments of The CosmOS as they become ready.

Signing up does not mean immediate build access. It gives the project a way to contact players interested in VR-first interaction, exploration, combat feel, puzzles, and the question that matters most: whether the universe feels strange, understandable, and worth continuing.

Prototypes as recovered records

The recovered archives now hold playable prototypes and experiments as part of the public site, framed as development fragments from the wider CosmOS rather than a loose game shelf.

That framing lets old experiments live inside the fiction while still being clear about what they are: fragments, prototypes, and signals from the larger build.

The bridge between mythos and play

The CosmOS is not meant to be a universe watched from the outside. Its core promise depends on physical presence: the feeling that your body, hands, attention, and choices belong inside the world.

That focus shapes the first playable work. Grabbing, climbing, throwing, fighting, traversal, and environmental problem-solving are not side features. They are the bridge between mythos and play.
